I’m Shannon. I’m 49yrs young & day by day through yoga, I’m figuring out this incredible existence we call life. Having done my training & extensive, immersive travel in India…I’m bursting to share my first-hand knowledge & experience with you all.

I’m passionate about inward contemplation, self care, self love, alternative thinking, everyday mindfulness, music, travel, appreciation for small things, cultures, rituals & building a sangha (A community of like-minded people).

My background is in dance & performance so having an interest in movement & the physical body, I attended my first yoga class in 1997 taught by a man in lycra bike shorts & I’ve been hooked ever since! (& it wasn’t just because of the shorts I promise).

I’ve been practicing yoga for 25yrs now. In 2018 I completed my 200hr teacher training at Sukha Mukha Yoga in Sydney. In Oct 2019, I graduated from 300hr teacher training at AYM ashram in Rishikesh, India & I recently completed my Yin yoga training with Maryanne Edwards of Organically Wealthy. I give thanks to all my teachers who have nurtured & guided me on my path so far.

Yoga is not a religion but a way of life. If practiced properly both on & off the mat, it unites our mind, body & spirit so we can come to understand ourselves in a holistic sense. To learn how to live in this fast paced world, to be able to self regulate our breath, emotions & reactions to then live a calmer & more balanced life.

My Classes

Hatha & Yin Yoga


Hatha is the balance of 2 opposites (Sun/Moon, Day/Night, Masculine/Feminine energies). It is a complete practice of asana (poses), Pranayama (breath control), Meditation (seated relaxation), Yoga philosophy, and sacred mantra that directly connects us to the self and to the elements and strengths of the universe. It is all there for us…if we slow down and tune in.


Yin yoga is based on the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and it’s link to our organs and meridians. Yin is the slowing down and softening of the body into shapes that help relieve physical (muscle, fascia, bones, joints etc) and mental/emotional tension. Ultimately, all these parts are intrinsically linked and each part supports the other. So, what we are aiming to do is integrate and balance the whole yin/yang body-mind into a place of rest.

  • TUESDAY  Hatha Yoga 6:00pm – 7:15pm
  • WEDNESDAY Yin Yoga 6:00pm – 7:15pm
  • FRIDAY  Hatha Yoga 9:30am – 10:45am


Seniors Yoga – $14

All other classes – $20 per class or $180 for 10 class pass (valid for 3 months)
